Meet Trent R. Morse - Indiana Notary Association Treasurer

Trent R. Morse was raised in Buffalo, New York. After high school, he joined the U. S. Navy where he attained the rank of E-5.  He retired from Continental Airlines after a 28 year tenure where he rose to General Manager in Long Beach, California and St. Louis, Missouri. He and his wife, Janet relocated to Indianapolis prior to his retirement in 1995.

This first attempt at retirement was brief.

Trent soon went to work as Director of Victims Services for the State of Indiana where his team instituted procedural eligibility, investigated compliances, researched applicants and allocated millions of grant dollars for federally sponsored programs to various charitable and non-profit organizations throughout the state. He also served as District manager for Access Financial Services before accepting a position with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Contact Service Representative. Trent describes this as, “very detailed and specifics driven”. His responsibilities included interpreting tax laws and assisting taxpayers with various types of tax issues including balances owed and how to address them. He again retired after several years of service.

Since his last retirement, Trent and Janet have spent the majority of their time managing their rental business which consists of 7 single family houses located primarily on the west side of Indianapolis.

Trent pledges to bring the same passion, efficiency and dedication to his position as treasurer to help the INA achieve its intended goals and stability.
